When I was 12 years old, my stepfather put me to work sweeping grinder dust, organizing tools, and doing whatever needed to be done. Before long I was measuring steel, polishing finished pieces, cutting with a hand torch, and helping on installations. That's where I learned what it really takes to run a contracting business—and how hard contractors work to earn every job.
As I got older, I built another skill: sales.
I spent years closing high-ticket offers, consistently generating $30,000–$40,000 in monthly revenue on $4,000 deals across industries including finance, logistics, insurance, and education. Those years taught me something simple: growth doesn't happen because of marketing alone. It happens when marketing, sales, and systems work together.
I also led content and marketing campaigns, producing videos and managing paid and organic content that reached nearly a quarter-million combined views. Most recently, I created content for Brighter Nights Technology, a residential and commercial lighting manufacturer serving contractors and distributors.
I've also worked in the trades myself as a union bricklayer on power plant and industrial construction projects, earning OSHA and SST certifications along the way, and completed welding work building refinery furnaces.
Today, I combine both worlds.
I understand what it's like to wake up before sunrise, manage crews, juggle estimates, and worry about keeping work on the schedule. I also understand what it takes to generate demand, build trust, and create systems that help contractors grow consistently.
